Keep me signed in: browsers store the session for this exact site address. Prefer the locked Tailscale Funnel URL (*.ts.net) so Remember Me sticks across restarts. Ephemeral Cloudflare tunnels (*.trycloudflare.com) change every restart and need a fresh sign-in.

Add to Home Screen (iPhone)

  1. Scan the QR (or tap Open on this phone).
  2. First time only (LAN HTTPS): Safari says “This Connection Is Not Private” — tap Show Details → visit this website → Visit. (Android Chrome: Advanced → Proceed.) Tailscale Funnel (*.ts.net) and Cloudflare tunnel links skip this warning.
  3. Sign in with your SIG email and password (QR alone does not unlock chat).
  4. Share → Add to Home Screen → Add.
  5. Repeat on the other phone with the same link.

Optional: remove the warning forever

Download the SIG certificate on the phone, then:
iPhone: Settings → Profile Downloaded → Install, then Settings → General → About → Certificate Trust Settings → enable SIG Phone.
Android: Settings → Security → Install a certificate → CA certificate.
